Create one useful product record
- Add an appliance with a recognizable name and its model in the name or notes.
- Scan useful manual pages or attach the files and photos you already have.
- Add a readable receipt photo, purchase date and warranty period.
- Choose a category and search for the product to check that you can find it again.
- Export a backup and keep it separately from your phone.
Which pages should I keep?
Start with model identification, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting instructions. Keep the original manual or manufacturer's official file when it contains information you have not copied into the archive. Searchable records do not imply that every attachment has automatic full-text recognition.
Does a warranty date confirm coverage?
No. A saved date helps organize your records; it does not verify the seller's or manufacturer's warranty terms. Keep the receipt and check the applicable terms when requesting service.
Is a phone archive enough?
A phone can be lost or replaced. Keep an exported backup in another location, and check the import workflow before relying on the archive as your only copy. Do not assume automatic cloud synchronization.
