Use a recording you are allowed to edit and share, and keep its original copy. Make sure the video is available on the device before starting a long analysis. Leave enough storage for exported copies.
A complete match can contain applause, nearby courts and pauses that resemble or obscure play. Treat detection as an editable first pass rather than a final judgment about every point.
Build the highlight selection
- Import the recording from Photos or Files.
- Run analysis and inspect the resulting rally list.
- Play the start and end of each selected section. Adjust cuts so the intended action remains inside the clip.
- Add a custom section if a rally was missed, and remove sections you do not want.
- Export separately for individual points or combine the selection into a reel.
Review with frame controls
Use frame stepping when a boundary falls close to a serve or final shot. Slow playback can help explain what happens around the cut, but it cannot restore detail that the camera never captured.
If a highlight is for a coach, keep enough context to understand the point. The shortest cut is not always the most useful one.
Check the exported video
- Selected points appear in the intended order.
- No serve or ending was cut off unintentionally.
- The audio is useful and the video opens normally.
- You have permission to share the footage and people shown.
