How many items can I combine?

Capacity depends on the layout and mode. Check the current picker: the listing and release history describe different limits for different workflows.

Can it identify my iPhone model?

Camera marks depend on metadata in the source photo. If that information is missing or removed during sharing, automatic detection may not be available.
